IF YOU HAVE 5+ YEARS IN THE BUY/SELL METALS BUSINESS, WE WANT TO TALK WITH YOU.Confidential inquires can be sent directly to Michelle.schupp@realalloy.com* Establish and maintain relationships with customer and supplier accounts by making sales calls on current accounts and with potential new business opportunities* Negotiates contracts with existing and new customers and prepares quotations on business from existing and new customers. Prepares analysis of profitability by working with metals procurement, operations and finance in conjunction with Leadership.* Work with leadership to develop and execute a viable commercial plan for assigned facilities.* Establish and maintain relationships with scrap supply accounts, make yard visits, prepare quotations, and ensure conformance to purchase expectation.* Manage supplier, customer, and facility performance and report appropriate monthly statistics relative to scrap evaluation, recovery, availability, chemistry, scrap blending and profit analysis.* When applicable, inspect material that plant personnel have identified as potentially causing off grade analysis at assigned facilities. Determine disposition relative to downgrade or rejected loads and disseminate information to the appropriate suppliers.* Stay apprised of appropriate market activity and intelligence by observing market trend and availability.* Minimize Real Alloy's exposure to risk of loss by structuring all purchases consistent with approved policies and procedures. Advise risk analysis of all purchases in a timely manner.* Supervise/manage assigned support personnel.Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in business-related field, or equivalent work experience.* Minimum of 5 years of metals procurement experience.* Travel approximately 60% of time.* Ability to solve problems while exhibiting practical judgment and realistic understanding of the issues involved.* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing market conditions.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports and correspondence.* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.Equal OpportunityREAL ALLOY is an equal opportunity employer and supports diversity in the workplace.
