Job Description Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room for a nursing job in Goodyear, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Staff /n/n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n Sign on Bonus: Up to $10k SOB Based on Eligibility /n Job Summary: /n /n /n The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout the perioperative period. This includes pre-op assessment, intraoperative assistance, and post-op evaluation, always keeping the patient and their family at the center of all decisions. /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n/n/n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n - Perform continuous assessment and develop individualized perioperative care plans. /n - Prevent surgical errors by adhering to safety protocols, including site verification and accurate surgical counts. /n - Administer medications and manage specimens in accordance with policies. /n - Maintain critical system functions (cardiac, respiratory, neurological) and ensure patient safety during procedures. /n - Promote patient education, engagement, and emotional support before and after surgery. /n - Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and culturally competent care. /n - Accurately document all care activities and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team. /n - Participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives. /n - Uphold organizational values and serve as a patient advocate. /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n/n/n /n /n /n /n /n - Minimum Requirements /n /n - Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR experience in acute care /n - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited nursing program /n - Certification: /n /n - Current RN license in the state of practice /n - BLS and ACLS certifications /n /n /n - Preferred Requirements /n /n - Experience: Trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, or vascular procedures /n - Certifications /n /n - CNOR certification /n - PALS certification (if applicable) /n /n /n /n /n /n /n /n/n LI-SW2 Tenet AZ Job ID 2403037804.
