Ref ID: 00190-9502276977 Classification: Accounts Receivable Clerk Compensation: $15.84 to $18.37 hourly Accounts Receivable Clerk (A/R) position available for a resourceful, detail-oriented candidate. This position is a long-term temporary-to-full-time located in the Phoenix area. The skilled candidate will enter, post, and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipt journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Candidates looking for career growth potential and are capable of processing 200 invoices per week will be best fit for this position. Daily duties include but not limited to: - Represent and exude the values, culture, and mission of the organization - Confirm documents and codes - Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders - Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP - Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in different ledgers - Execute a number of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks - Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment - Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans - Be detailed, flexible, and organized - Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy - Deep understanding of QuickBooks - Foundational knowledge in Remittance - Command of Microsoft Excel - Experience with Title Insurance - experience desired - Efficient in ERP systems - Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills - 2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred Accountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
