This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A strong understanding of hyper-scale data center construction is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement comprehensive construction plans for data center projects. - Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. - Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones and deliverables. - Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, working closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery. - Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents. - Provide technical support and leadership to construction teams throughout all phases of the project. - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address project challenges. - Foster a collaborative, positive work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication among project stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center construction project management. - Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including design principles, installation methods, and industry best practices. - Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Microsoft Project. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party consultants. - In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to data center construction.
