Special Education (SPED) Position at Blazerworks in Goodyear, Arizona Job Type: Full-time Blazerworks, in partnership with a reputable school district in Goodyear, Arizona, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education (SPED) professional to join our team. • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to foster inclusive educational practices.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations to optimize student learning and engagement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and support strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive plans. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Arizona Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
