Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This contract opportunity offers a special education
teaching role in Peoria, AZ, with an anticipated duration through
May 21, 2026. The position involves working onsite with various
grade levels and special education settings, including K-2nd grade
STC structured teaching, 7th-8th grade Resource, and Preschool
Special Education. Key responsibilities include providing case
management services for students with Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and
district regulations. You will deliver direct instruction aligned
with IEP goals, develop and implement a full continuum of special
education services, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaboration is essential, as you will consult in the Response to
Intervention (RtI) process, communicate regularly with parents and
guardians, and partner with staff to apply accommodations and
modifications. Behavior management support and implementation of
behavior intervention plans are integral to supporting student
success. Additionally, you will ensure a safe learning environment
and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Current
Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification - Ability to obtain
and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP)
Fingerprint Clearance Card - Experience working with diverse age
groups and special education settings - Strong knowledge of special
education law and IEP compliance - Effective communication and
collaborative skills to engage with students, parents, and school
