growth opportunities. ABOUT THE POSITION The MS (Middle School)
Math Teacher will be needed for the 2024-25 school year. Job duties
and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide academic instruction
aligned to Arizona State Standards ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and deliver instruction appropriate to
the grade level that includes different learning styles, abilities,
and interests in accordance with state standards. Utilize school
adopted systems of practice for curriculum, instruction, and
assessment including, but not limited to: Beyond Textbooks,
Spalding, data submission, and testing protocols. Prior knowledge
of Spalding, and Beyond Textbooks, and data driven instruction a
plus. Assess student progress towards learning targets, objectives,
expectations, and/or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to
students, parents/guardians, and administration. Use available
technology to enhance student learning. Communicate learning goals
to students and parents or guardians in a well-planned and
organized manner. Use school and state assessment data to inform
instruction. Establish classroom routines and procedures in a
positive manner conducive to effective instruction. Effectively
implement student goals outlined in 504 Plans and IEPs. Participate
in grade level and/or school wide professional learning activities.
Document and proactively attempt to resolve issues related to
student behavior and/or attendance. Reflect continually on teaching
and professional practice. Supervise classroom and/or other
students in the school in adherence with state laws. Maintain
accurate and complete student records as required by the school and
law. Participate in school-wide events, scheduled meetings, and
parent conferences. Perform other job duties as assigned. CORE

COMPETENCIES: Use office equipment and materials properly and in a
safe manner. Perform basic math skills and functions. Strong oral
and written communication skills. Read a variety of manuals and
documents. Writes in a coherent and professional manner. Present
information to others. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions
in this classification typically require: stooping, kneeling,
crouching, fingering, standing, walking, pushing, reaching,
lifting, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Employees must be subject to exert up to 50 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up
to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Employees must be
able to physically manage a classroom with small children ensuring
the safety of the children at all times. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree or higher Arizona Teaching Certification or
reciprocal Out-of-State Certification Previous Teaching Experience
Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance
Card PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a school
environment Extensive knowledge of office management procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent
interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational
skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills
with a proven ability to meet deadlines Proficient with Microsoft
