Our employees are the cornerstone of our success and we are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team.We have an excellent opportunity for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer in our Goodyear, AZ manufacturing location.Summary:Assists with the implementation of lean manufacturing goals and strategies for improving operations.Responsibilities/Principal Duties:* Develop, implement, and verify cost savings related to operational improvements.* Understands, demonstrates, and can teach the tools of a Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement culture.* Develop standards and measurements for manufacturing process.* Conducts data collection and analysis to inform and support the improvement of organizational performance. Identifies and utilizes key metrics related to process improvement.* Support to operations regarding quality and safety based processes, procedures or projects.* Leads value stream mapping exercises to determine and record improvement opportunities.* Evaluates work flow and cell design, recommends improvements to enhance SQDC.* Develops measurement systems supporting lean manufacturing philosophy.* Trains teams in improvement processes, optimizing floor layout, and material flow using lean concepts.* Other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:* Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing.* Green/Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma preferred.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), AutoCAD (2D layout, floor plans, drawings).* Preferred knowledge: ERP systems (routing setup, process setup, and integration), Load Balance Analysis, Time Studies, Capacity modeling, Process Flow Charting, FMEA, DOE, Process Control Plans, SPC, New Equipment ROI. Structured problem solving, Capacity Planning Models, Standard Work Development, Man/Machine analysis, Job Safety Analysis, Ergonomic Analysis, Setup Reduction Strategies, Total Productive Maintenance, Project Management, Presentation Skills, Time Management, Facilitation Skills.* Metal manufacturing experience is preferred.* Proven developer of others.We offer a competitive salary and a very comprehensive benefits package, including 401K, paid holidays, sick, and vacation time.Equal Opportunity Employer, providing a drug-free work environment.SDL2017
