Job Description Job Description Title: Manufacturing Engineering Support – CNC Machining and Fabrication Location : Gilbert, AZ Shift : 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Job Description: Provide manufacturing engineering support to fabrication and production operations by developing, implementing, and optimizing machining processes for complex aerospace components. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and technical specifications to determine appropriate manufacturing methods, tooling, and operation sequencing to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with design intent. Support pre-production and production activities by preparing machine setups, selecting tooling, assisting with NC program prove-out, and validating machining processes for repeatable and efficient production. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and ensure consistent part quality. Assist in developing and maintaining setup documentation, tooling configurations, and process standards to support efficient production flow and repeatable manufacturing outcomes. Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing speeds, feeds, tooling performance, and machining strategies to enhance cycle time efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve overall manufacturing performance. Utilize experience with multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn equipment to support machining of tight-tolerance aerospace components using materials such as titanium, Inconel, and stainless steel.
