Assembly Part Mark . SUMMARY: The Assembler Part Mark uses various
marking methods for performing visual inspection on machined and
assembled parts to ensure final product meets customer
specifications. This full time/day shift position works as part of
a production team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Mark various types of
aerospace parts using rubber stamps, stencils, and/or an inkjet
machine. Read and understand instructions’ detailing what
information is to be included on part mark. Interpret drawings to
determine proper location for part mark. Responsible for producing
quality products within specifications. Responsible for meeting
shift production goals. Drive continuous improvement activities.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment. Work to meet customer
and internal production schedules. Maintain high level of integrity
dealing with all departments within the organization. Complete
shift paperwork. Assist elsewhere when necessary. Adhere to company
policies and procedures described in Employment Handbook. Other
duties as assigned by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High
School Diploma or GED. 2 years’ experience in a similar position
preferred. Able to interpret Aerospace blueprints a plus. Able to
read, write and communicate work instructions and drawings in
English. Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to
problems. Proficient using PC and software applications. Experience
with automated part marking equipment. Basic math skills. Team
player who can perform in a fast-paced environment with sense of
urgency. Quality oriented with a hands-on personality, “do it right
the first time” personality. Strong attention to detail,
organizational, time management and follow-up skills. PHYSICAL
DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of
those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift
and /or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up
to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities may be required by this job
include industry standard requirements for Aerospace, Defense, and
Space. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and
the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this
Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; bend; kneel
or squat. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or
