Lead Radiology Tech Full Time Days Position Summary
Working lead, coordinates the scheduling and efforts of the Radiology Techs. Performs a variety of radiological procedures. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. In Absence of Supervisor/Director, this position oversees the Radiology Department to ensure that the unit is operating efficiently and effectively.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. Problem solving skills.









THE LEAD RADIOLOGY TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One - two years radiology experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Three years radiology experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Currently Certified and Registered in Radiography R.T. (R)(CRT). CPR.
SUPERVISES: Functional supervision will be exercised over area staff, students, and ancillary personnel.
