*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care and be adept at providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires expertise in catheterization procedures, infection control, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.*Duties** Provide direct patient care during catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.* Monitor patients vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems such as Cerner and Epic.* Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and infection prevention strategies.* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols.* Assist with the preparation of the catheterization lab for procedures, including equipment setup and sterilization.*Experience** Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.* 2 years recent Cath Lab experience required.* Current BLS and PALS from AHA* Experience in critical care or an ambulatory surgery center is preferred.* Familiarity with behavioral health practices is a plus.* Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic is highly desirable.* Previous experience in infection control practices is beneficial.* Experience with critical care transport is advantageous but not mandatory.* Additional certifications related to catheterization lab procedures or critical care nursing will be considered an asset.Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care in the Catheterization Lab.
