• Program Outcomes: Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through diverse teaching methods, including classroom, online, and clinical settings.
• Curricular Innovations: Develop and revise course materials annually, ensuring they meet the highest standards of educational excellence.
• Autonomous Teaching: Take full responsibility for your teaching load, delivering high-quality education independently.
• Clinical Supervision: Monitor clinical agencies for suitability, plan clinical experiences, and provide direct and indirect supervision of nursing students.
• Preceptor Coordination: Collaborate with clinical agencies and University departments to oversee and evaluate clinical preceptors and mentors.
• Student Feedback & Remediation: Offer constructive feedback based on course outcomes and provide remediation as needed.
• Communication: Keep students informed about agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.Professional Role Model

    • Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and evaluation of student admission, progression, retention, and graduation policies.
    • Program Evaluation: Facilitate student and graduate evaluations of curriculum and teaching effectiveness.

      • Committee Work: Chair or serve on University committees and work groups, contributing to accreditation preparation and continuous quality improvement.
      • Course Coordination: Act as course coordinator, lead, or Subject Matter Expert (SME), documenting actions taken in faculty and committee meetings.

        • Master's Degree in Nursing*
        • Professional nurse licensure required
        • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working in a clinical setting
        • Prior teaching experience preferred with passion for teaching and openness to teaching a variety of courses
        • Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses
        • Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment
        • Excellent communication skills along with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment
        • Scholarship Requirements: Demonstrates scholarship congruent with the level of rank.
        • Education and experience must align with regulations in the state and comply with the rules and regulations of state authorization agencies, which may include the higher education board and/or licensing board in multiple states.Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.9 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
