• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Position renders individualized, age-specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Performs all aspects of clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• May assist with compilation and reporting of procedural information to benchmarking, regulatory, or accreditation agency(ies), as required.
• Participates with all team members to provide and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• This position will perform a variety of roles, including monitoring, assisting the physician scrubbing procedures and using the pacing stimulator.Special Skills: Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with team members are required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure. Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing and wearing the additional weight of lead aprons during procedures. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills
  • This position has assigned "late stay" call to finish scheduled procedures during the week. No call on nights, holidays or weekends.*Shift: 6a-630p (12 hr Shifts)THE RN EP LAB TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing schoolPREFERRED EDUCATION: BSNMinimum ExperienceA minimum of 1+ years in any of the following departments ICU/ ENDO/TELE /ED or any procedural environment . We will train if you are willing to learnPreferred ExperienceAt least one (1) year of prior Cardiac Cath/ EP Lab experience preferred.
