Position Overview The Manager partners with administrative leaders, physicians, and scientists to lead and coordinate operational and administrative functions in alignment with strategic priorities. The Manager has strong leadership, operational and process improvement capabilities. Qualifications • Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience required. • Operational experience must include demonstrated competency in leadership, management, operations, finance, communication, and change management methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in anatomic pathology operations (i.e. histology, cytology, surgical pathology, digital pathology), with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. • Strong understanding of anatomic pathology workflows, laboratory processes, and relevant regulatory standards. • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, including CLIA, OSHA, JCAHO, and HIPAA standards. • Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and other healthcare management software.
