License: Current and valid state Pharmacy license required
Certifications: BLS certification within 30 days of hire Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred including
one-year residency Description: This position involves directing,
managing, and supervising daily administrative operations. The goal
is to ensure the highest quality service response and delivery
consistent with established professional, regulatory, and
governmental standards. Operational and financial outcome measures
will be developed along with related tracking and monitoring
systems. A mechanism to integrate efforts into organization-wide
Quality Improvement systems will be established. The role includes
directing, implementing, and evaluating the development of
departmental policies and procedures. Proactive assessment of
program and service effectiveness is expected, with a focus on
continuous process improvement. Staff development is essential, and
provision of timely feedback will be provided. Management of
purchasing and inventory functions will ensure cost-effective
inventory management. Facilitation of staff professional growth is
necessary through assessment of learning needs. Monthly progress
and operational reports will be prepared to identify areas for
improvement and concern. Participation in departmental orientation,
on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs is required.
Engagement in educational programs to maintain current skills and
competencies is essential. Additional duties may be assigned as
requested.
