As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be a key member of a high-functioning cardiovascular team, assisting in life-saving procedures and advancing patient care during critical moments. Key Responsibilities - Assist physicians and Cath Lab team members during a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. - Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in all Cath Lab procedure. - Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments; promptly communicate any patient condition changes to nursing or medical staff. - Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient and procedure. - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. - Prioritize tasks in high-acuity situations and respond confidently to cardiovascular emergencies as they relate to technologist specifications. Qualifications Education - Required: - Associate degree in Radiologic Technology. - Completion of Basic EKG course. - ARRT certification in Radiography. - Arizona CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license. - Preferred: - ARRT (R)(CI) certification – Radiography with Cardiac Interventional credential. Experience - Required: - Minimum of 6 months' experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. - Preferred: - 1 year of hands-on Cath Lab experience. Certifications - Required: - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification—must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
