Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Nights Mon-Thurs Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, must be recent, within the past 6 months. License: ARRT Certifications: BLS, ARRT, CT Must-Have: Prefer Siemens CT Experience, Trauma Experience, and Level One experience. Description: Minimum 2 years of experience are required. Experience must be recent, within the last 6 months. Prefer candidates with Siemens CT experience. Trauma experience and Level One experience are preferred. ARRT certification and CT certification are mandatory. A radiation badge is required. Department utilizes two scanners. No floating is required to cover other areas. Common imaging/studies include stroke, trauma, ER, and inpatient cases. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is approximately 300. Electronic medical records (EMR) and Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) software used is Cerner. Department specific equipment includes Siemens. Supervisor for the department is Mike Taylor. Radiologist available in-house during the day, tele radiology is used after hours. IV starts are not required. Shifts include Thursday through Sunday 1930-0700 and Monday through Wednesday 1200-0030. Weekend requirements include shifts Thursday through Sunday. Staff are required to work holidays. Call every fourth Friday and every fifth Saturday is required with a one-hour response time. Scrub color is teal. Scrubs are provided. Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner. BSN is not required. Trauma level is 1. Care setting is acute. Division is allied.
