Cardiology - Interventional Locum Opportunity in Goodyear, AZ Job Summary : Reason for Coverage : Growth Board Status : BC or BE Will accept multiple providers : No Must have completed 1-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Schedule : Call Schedule: ER call 5-7 days a month, 1:4 weekends. Start date: Between January 2025 and August 2025 Visa: J1-visa eligible. H1B visa not available. Job Description : Full time Interventional Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology care in outpatient and inpatient settings. Current team consists of 2 physicians and 1 APP Inpatient Rounding and Outpatient clinic Interpretation of noninvasive studies including EKG, Echo, Stress test, Nuclear Medicine stress,vascular Ultrasound, event monitors and holters Interventional cardiology procedures and cases, including emergency and elective angioplasty and stenting, diagnostic heart catheterization. Candidate Requirements : Active AZ State License Flu vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption. Covid vaccination: Required or Need Medical or religious exemption. Certifications: ACLS-AHA issued, BLS-AHA issued. Vascular skills a plus Specialty Specific Skills : Electrocardiogram (EKG) Mandatory Echocardiography Mandatory Transesophageal Echo (TEE) Mandatory Nuclear Stress Test Mandatory Treadmill Stress Test Mandatory Rhythm Monitoring (holter,event monitors) Mandatory Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization Mandatory Coronary angioplasty Mandatory Coronary stent placement Mandatory PA (Swan-Ganz) catheter placement Mandatory IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon pump) placement Mandatory Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement Mandatory Permanent pacemaker placement Mandatory Coronary Atherectomy Mandatory Coronary Shockwave therapy Mandatory Impella placement Mandatory
