Shift: 0700-1730, with call coverage from 1730-0700 Experience:
Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in interventional
radiology and cardiac catheterization. Experience in vascular
and/or structural heart procedures is desirable. Knowledge of
charting systems and equipment is beneficial. Description: The unit
consists of three labs and a hybrid OR. The average number of cases
per day is 15-20, though this can vary. Required certifications
include BLS and ACLS through AHA. Patients present with a variety
of diagnoses across multiple areas. Common cases include diagnostic
heart catheterizations, PCIs, device implants, and more.
Electrophysiology procedures such as cardiac ablations and device
implants are included. Responsibilities include circulating cases,
administering medications and sedation, and monitoring patients
throughout procedures. Staffing typically involves 3-4 person teams
per room. Call coverage requires responding within 30 minutes.
Floating to other departments may occur based on hospital staffing
needs. Scrubs are provided for use in the lab. Additional
orientation includes departmental training. Requirements Required
