behavioral health field Job Summary: As a member of the Clinical
Team, our Group Facilitator is to perform clinical duties in
support of residential and therapeutic services for our adult
residents with SMI, TBI, and dual diagnoses. Our Group Facilitator
supports the implementation of treatment plans, ensures services
are provided in accordance with all applicable policies,
procedures, laws, regulations and contract requirements, and builds
an environment which promotes growth for each member of our team
and each resident in our care.Our Group Facilitator supports a
clinical team of Licensed Counselors and medical records to ensure
the goals and vision of Orion Homes meet the needs of all clients.
Regular schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Essential
Duties & Responsibilities: Review, monitor and evaluate Behavioral
Health Treatment Plans. Schedule and facilitate group counseling at
assigned group homes to support all residents Email group progress
notes to medical records and clinical counselors. Provide
evaluations and recommendations on the effectiveness of treatment
Electronically document and maintain records in QuickMar/Caresuite
of resident condition, progress, or problems Communicate with
clinical team and staff within and outside Orion to ensure
coordination and follow-through for our residents care services.
Report and discuss observations, changes in conditions, and
incidents with supervisor and your house team Understand and
navigate the rights of the patient regarding access to treatment,
appeals, and complaint processes. Use of personal vehicle to
commute to our group homes to conduct onsite visits with mileage
reimbursement. Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to
the residents in our group homes As needed, give personal care,
hygiene assistance, medication assistance, and mealtime assistance.
Maintain compliance with credentials required to work in a group
home setting, including attending in person monthly clinical
supervision Other duties may be assigned as necessary Knowledge,
Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of common and uncommon mental
& behavioral health disorders, including Schizophrenia, Bipolar
Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, PTSD, Personality Disorders,
Substance Abuse Disorders, etc., and associated terminology.
Knowledge of methods, procedures, and techniques used in behavioral
health Treatment Plans. Knowledge of laws and ethical standards
relating to the care and assistance for individuals with SMI,
developmental disabilities and other disorders. Best practices in
the assessment and treatment of behavioral health problems.
Management of behavioral health crisis including risk assessment,
crisis intervention techniques, crisis resources, and
hospitalization protocols. Skills in developing, evaluating, and
maintaining member service plans. Skills in problem identification
and resolution for refusal of participation in groups. Good
communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction
with a diverse team of co-workers, supervisors, management, and
outside collaborators. Must build relationships with residents
assigned to conduct groups Knowledge of community-based behavioral
health services. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a human
service-related field and at-least one year of full time behavioral
health work experience OR Associate's degree and at least two years
of full time behavioral health work experience OR verifiable 4
years experience in a behavioral health field Reliable
Transportation to commute between locations assigned 39 Month
Uncertified Motor Vehicle Record Two Negative TB Skin Tests, a
Negative TB Blood test, or a Positive TB Skin Test with XRAY CPI
certificate, First Aid & CPR certification and Article 9
certification Must be flexible to support all homes when needed
Required: Must be 21 years or older Valid Fingerprint Level 1
Clearance Card (must provide on own) Must possess and maintain a
current driver license and a clean driving record in the State of
Arizona Must pass background checks such as federal, state, APS,
