Medical Assistant Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $720 to $792 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/Hourly. Summary: A Medical Assistant / Correctional Health Technician (MA/CHT) provides clinical and administrative healthcare support within a correctional facility such as a jail or prison. This role involves delivering basic patient care to inmates under supervision while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with correctional regulations. Responsibilities: Assist healthcare providers with medical examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration). Administer medications as directed and document accurately. Perform basic wound care and first aid. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Must have AZ satate Certified Medical Assistant/Correctional Health Technician (MA/CHT). 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, First Aid Certification. completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.
