security. 0verview : We are seeking a strategic senior data leader
Director of Cloud Analytics for developing and implementing the
strategic direction for cloud-based analytics. This role is
critical in driving scalable, cost-effective, and high-impact
analytics solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — with a
strong emphasis on Big Query. As a key partner to Cloud
Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams, you
will define and implement the foundation for analytics innovation,
performance optimization, and data-driven decision-making across
the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the enterprise-wide
transition to a cloud analytics model using native GCP services,
with Big Query as the central data warehouse. • Design, build, and
scale analytics solutions that leverage GCP tools such as Big
Query, Cloud Notebooks, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow. • Drive optimization
of cloud data pipelines and analytical workloads for performance,
cost, and sustainability. • Develop a roadmap for advanced
analytics aligned with business objectives. Partner with Cloud
Engineering, Data Governance, and Security teams to ensure
architecture meets enterprise standards. • Promote best practices
for data architecture, metadata management, and operational
excellence in cloud analytics. • Oversee migration of legacy data
assets and gold datasets to cloud-native platforms, ensuring
continuity and minimal disruption. • Champion a modern data stack
and democratization of analytics through scalable platforms and
reusable components. • Provide thought leadership on the evolving
cloud data landscape and emerging tools in AI/ML analytics
Qualification Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in data science,
Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
experience in the convenience retail and/or hospitality industry
preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics,
cloud computing, and application development • Minimum 2 years of
technical experience in Google Cloud and data analytics tools and
technologies • Excellent leadership and team management skills,
with experience leading cross-functional teams. Prior people
leadership experience preferred. • Excellent communication and
collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data
concepts for business stakeholders. Salary Range: $150,000.00 to
$225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits The
