Job Description:

Our organization is a multi-location, fast paced, Otolaryngology (ENT) group seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:1. Patient intake including vitals, rooming, documentation
2. Assisting clinical team in maintaining patient volume and clinical pace
3. Handling incoming patient tasks, cases, and calls related to clinical questions, medication-- -- -- refills, orders, etc. as needed (under Physician supervision)
4. Assist with benefit verification, plan authorizations, scheduling and coordination of home sleep studies and/or oral appliances.
5. Work with MA team to maintain and monitor clinical supply inventory
6. Assist with in-office procedures when needed
7. Maintain sterilization and sanitation protocols per OSHA guidelines
8. Protect patient confidentiality and privacy as required by HIPAA
9. Provide coverage for Medical Assistant and Allergy team when needed
10. Report directly to COO--

Requirements:
- Completion of Medical Assistant certification program
- 1-3 years clinical experience (ENT preferred but not required)
