  • Career AdvancementJob DetailsJob Title: Experienced Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME)Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pmJob Purpose:As an Experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) within our Engineering Department, you will play a critical role in providing technical solutions and expertise to support our Operations, Maintenance, and facility infrastructure. Your high level of proficiency and statistical approach will be essential in optimizing plant performance and efficiency. You will lead and coordinate maintenance activities, capital projects, and engineering solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the reliability and productivity of our plant operations.Responsibilities:Explain and troubleshoot sterile water locks and flow using HMI or hands-on equipment demonstration.Demonstrate strong technical and mechanical aptitude.Be available for calls and assistance during all hours, including night shifts.Continuously seek to improve plant operations and efficiencies.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and contribute to the success of the team.Collaborate with others effectively and demonstrate an understanding or willingness to learn Mechatronics.Troubleshoot technical issues, create new recipes, develop SOPs, training material, and maintenance schedules.Own and update all equipment documentation and procedures, track part lifecycles, and manage inventory.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operators, leadership, engineering, vendors, and suppliers.Lead and participate in equipment-specific trials and projects.Analyze data and conduct failure analysis to recommend operational and maintenance improvements.Work closely with vendors to engineer critical parts/components for equipment.Execute capital projects with engineers and project managers.Drive reliability KPIs and department goals using analytical tools to improve performance and reduce variances.Foster a continuous improvement culture throughout the facility.Implement predictive maintenance programs and identify opportunities for reliability engineering.Provide guidance to maintenance and production teams in reliability-related processes.Solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and escalate more complex problems when needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills/Qualifications Required:Preferred minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Consumer Packaging Goods or related fields.Proficiency in updating P&ID's and mechanical/electrical prints.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.Excellent mechanical and electrical skills with Krones packaging equipment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with diverse constituencies.Experience in leading BDA and RCA initiatives.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, operating manuals, and blueprints.Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working at elevated heights.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Willingness to work all shifts, including off-shifts.Previous automation experience preferred.Aseptic/Dairy experience preferred.Knowledge of USDA, State, and Federal regulations for dairy manufacturing facilities is a plus.Location: Goodyear, AZReports to: Reliability ManagerTravel Requirements: MinimalExempt/Non-Exempt: ExemptInterested in hearing more?
